Coastal Cooling, Warm Temps Inland

We’re seeing a bit of a battle going on for control of our Bay Area weather today. On one side, an increasing southerly surge beginning to push low clouds up the coast and in toward the Golden Gate. And on the other, locally gusty north winds helping to warm and dry the interior valleys. For today it looks like we’ll see a blend of the two with mid to upper 80s still possible inland, though not expected to be quite as warm as Monday. On the coastline and peninsula, its looking like the onshore winds will increase late day, ushering in cooler marine air. By Thursday much cooler weather will return to inland locations as well with highs in the 60s and 70s. – Rob Mayeda
