Cooling For Now, 90s Return Soon

With a marine layer nearly 3,000 ft. thick, we’re expecting another fairly cool day inland by July standards with some drizzle at times near the coast and bay.High pressure should begin building back toward California around Wednesday which will begin to compress the marine layer and decrease the sea breeze. This will allow our valleys to climb mostly in the 80s and eventually into the 90s again from Thursday into the weekend. Our typical spread of 60s and 70s near the coast and bay and 80s and 90s further inland for the weekend. Though temps may trend a little on the hot side at times with mid to upper 90s possible Saturday in some valley locations. So enjoy the free ocean a/c while it lasts! – Rob Mayeda
