Cooling Changes Begin

Low clouds have returned to the coast and winds are turning onshore again, all signs of some cooling for Sunday with some exceptions to that rule. For the coast, peninsula, bay and North Bay our onshore/southerly winds should drop temps about 10-15 degrees from Saturday s toasty highs. However for inland valleys around the East Bay and South Bay, its still looking like we ll have highs climbing into the 80s and 90s for one more day before the marine layer deepens up and leads to more significant cooling on Monday.Tuesday and Wednesday will see a brief return to warming temps and dry, gusty conditions possible in the hills for increased fire danger concerns. However later in the week a trough of low pressure approaching the coast will insure more cooling, and possibly some drizzle at times by Friday morning. Next weekend is also looking much cooler than the weather we re seeing now as well.Enjoy your Sunday and have a very Happy Father s Day! Rob Mayeda
