Father's Day Forecast

A steady sea breeze, increasing toward the afternoon and evening will insure a mostly mild day around the Bay Area. Coastal highs will remain in the 50s to low 60s with the warmest and mostly sunny conditions further south near Santa Cruz. Inland valleys should see highs in the 70s to lower 80s to wrap up the weekend.A weather system dropping in over Northern California later on Monday into Tuesday will continue to cool temps even more and possibly toss enough moisture across the far North Bay hills late Tuesday into Wednesday to warrant a slight chance for some showers. What the rest of the Bay Area will see is a continued drop in temps, especially inland as highs around midweek are in the 60s to mid 70s across the area.High pressure should begin strengthening approaching next weekend which means we ll see a transition period of drier, northerly winds followed by inland temps soaring back into the 80s and possibly near low 90s by next Saturday just in time for the first official first weekend of Summer.
