Frosty Start to Cool, Hazy Sunshine

Dry air, clear skies helped temps dip to near freezing for most of our inland North Bay and East Bay valleys this morning. We’ll see temps climbing into the upper 50s to low 60s despite the cold start. High clouds will drift by from time to time to give the Sun a ‘filtered’ look. Subtle warming should continue through Wednesday as rain chances begin to drift south into the North Bay, mainly areas north of Santa Rosa through midweek. Highs will trend warmer, to the mid and upper 60s though this time. By later on Thursday into Friday shower chances will increase as an upper low moves ashore. Then our best chance for rain will drop in later on Saturday as a moderately strong system moves in. Its looking like much wetter finish to next weekend than the one we’re seeing now.Enjoy your Sunday and thanks for all veterans who have served this country. – Rob Mayeda
