HD Zoom: Gulf Oil Spill 5/20/2010

From NBC Bay Area’s Rob Mayeda – Latest NASA imagery continues to show Gulf Oil spill surface sheen expanding along the Louisiana coastline. Medium crude mixed with dispersant has been sloshing ashore in the Louisiana wetlands and surface winds are likely to continue the trend. This HD imagery shows the large field of ‘light’ crude, more reflective around midday as captured from NASA‘s Terra satellite.
