June Showers Before Summer Sizzle

A late season storm will drop a chance of showers (!) across the Bay Area late Thursday in the North Bay and across the central Bay Area midday Friday. Rain totals may approach 1″+ for areas Mendocino County/Lake County northward while the front pretty much falls apart as it nears San Francisco. There’s plenty of moisture out there and provided we get enough lift even with a decaying frontal boundary – we ought to see some showers north of SF for Friday. The weekend will trend drier and a little warmer as another weather system skirts by to the north. By Monday and Tuesday high pressure should take hold boosting inland temps into the 80s and 90s.
