Mild Winter Temps, Offshore Breeze

High pressure strengthening in the next 36 hours will help our temps to climb into the 60s, possibly near the upper 60s closer to Santa Cruz today. Winds will turn from northerly to more northeasterly, drying out the lower levels of the atmosphere and promoting warming temps down to the coastline. Thursday and Friday should be the warmest days of the week with some areas possibly nearing 70 (mainly Santa Cruz area) before more clouds and slight cooling arrive for the weekend. Its looking like we’ll see some rain chances increasing by next Tuesday into Wednesday as high pressure gives ground to an area of low pressure early next week. Hope you enjoy your Wednesday! – Rob Mayeda
