Mild Finish To The Weekend & Monday Showers?

High pressure will begin weakening slightly for the end of the weekend, allowing some high clouds to spill over into the Bay Area in addition to the areas of low clouds below to start the day. Highs should again range mainly in the 60s and 70s with perhaps a few low 80s well inland. On Monday we’ll see the outer fringe of a weather system clip the upper half of the Bay Area, perhaps with enough lift/moisture to wring out a few showers mainly north of the Golden Gate from around 6pm Monday to 6am Tuesday. High pressure builds in again behind this system with some northerly to slightly offshore winds bringing us the warmest temperatures of the week with 70s and 80s inland and some 70s near the beaches on Wednesday and Thursday. The pattern flip flops again by late Friday into the start of next weekend as a trough of low pressure approaches the coast and re-introduces a chance for some showers mainly north of San Francisco again. Enjoy your Sunday! – Rob Mayeda
