Misty & Mild with Warming Ahead

More areas of light rain/drizzle are kicking off the morning with another below average day for daytime high temperatures around the Bay Area – its looking like mainly 60s-70s for most and a few lower 80s well inland. Starting Monday we’ll see inland valley temperatures rising, probably back into some 90s as we approach the middle part of the week. This is due to high pressure trying to build back into Southern California out of the Desert Southwest. This feature coupled with mid-level moisture streaming away from former Tropical Depression Greg may provide us with enough moisture to warrant a slight risk for thunder especially along the coastal range around midweek. Enjoy your Sunday! – Rob Mayeda
