Misty Mornings, Mild Days

Good Saturday morning to you! Low clouds surged well inland overnight giving us mainly grey skies to start that will turn mostly sunny inland later in the day. Highs will remain unusually cool for this time of year with mainly 60s near the coast and bay with 70s inland and maybe a few lower 80s popping up for the warmest inland, higher elevation valleys and hilltop areas. We’ll see temps trending a little warmer early next week with one wildcard entering the forecast around Tuesday. Tropical Storm Greg off the southern tip of Baja California is unraveling as you read this, cooler sea surface temperatures are ending its run as a warm-core tropical system. However, mid-high level moisture from the storm formerly known as Greg may drift our way around Tuesday. This needs to be watched for thunder potential, especially for the coastal range – we’ll monitor for you early next week. Enjoy your Saturday! Rob Mayeda
