More Clouds, Warm Temps Continue Inland

Our first Fall weather system will spill mid and high level clouds over the Bay Area into the afternoon. This will act to filter the sunshine at times and the weather system associated with these clouds will encourage the sea breeze to strengthen into the mid afternoon and evening. Temps look to cool a few degrees from Saturday’s highs, a trend that should continue early in the week. By midweek and beyond, things are trending warmer again and possibly an issue for fire danger if north to northeast winds pick up strongly enough. As you’re well aware, we’re at the time of year now where any offshore wind that lowers humidity coupled with our dry hillsides could lead to red flag warnings (dependent on sustained wind speeds) so keep a close eye on the forecast this week to see how this pattern progresses. Hope you enjoy your Sunday – Rob Mayeda
