More Mild, More Clouds, More Rain!

Enjoy today – the drier half of your weekend forecast with some fairly mild temperatures as we’ll see a return to rain starting later on in the North Bay and spreading southward overnight. A very moisture-rich plume of clouds is riding northward from near the Hawaiian Islands into the Oregon/Northern California border. Most of this moisture appears hung up over a stationary boundary in southern Oregon to start the day – though given how juicy the air is coming in – I wouldn’t rule out at least a few showers at times into the afternoon – especially for areas north of San Francisco. Expect some widespread rain for Sunday morning, locally heavy at times near the coastal mountains changing over to mostly cloudy skies and ongoing showers for the afternoon. We may see a few more showers lingering into Monday under party cloudy skies before things trend drier again. Enjoy your Saturday! – Rob Mayeda
