Morning mist & mostly mild temps

Our marine layer is about 1,500 thick pushed inland to the Altamont Pass and inland Solano county to the northeast by a fairly robust sea breeze. This will insure our temperatures stay fairly cool around the peninsula and coast where the low clouds will be tough to clear. Farther inland, we’ll manage more 70s and 80s with the hottest places inland near Pleasanton, Sunol and Morgan Hill to the south will see highs in the upper 80s to near 90. Some warming into the mid 90s in our inland valleys around Tuesday/Wednesday as high pressure ramps up a bit. Hope you’re enjoying Labor Day weekend so far, enjoy your Sunday! – Rob Mayeda
