Muggy & Mild With Showers: Dry/Foggy Weekend Ahead

A very moist flow of Pacific air continues flowing across the upper half of the state – smaller systems are going along for the ride bringing us some chances of showers off and on into Friday evening. Expect most of Friday’s showers to be aimed in for areas north of San Francisco. After a few early morning showers for the North Bay, high pressure building in will send the storm track northward across Oregon. Thanks to recent rain, light winds and clearing skies we’ll likely have some pretty thick fog for the weekend mornings. In some cases for our North and East Bay valleys, we may not see much clearing that could keep temperatures mired in the 50s. For areas that are fog free and closer to the coastline some mid 60s to near 70 degree temperatures are possible by Monday.
