Saturday Spring Showers

The weekend may not start out too bad with variable clouds and patchy morning fog turning over to partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies into the afternoon. A large area of low pressure spinning offshore will toss bands of showers our way, likely increasing the risk for some rain especially later in the day into night time as this low draws closer to the coast. EASTER SUNDAY: SOME RAIN AT TIMES, RISK FOR THUNDERUnfortunately for Easter Sunday morning plans, its looking likely we ll see the wettest part of the weekend forecast occurring into Sunday afternoon. Rain at times with some isolated thunder will be possible. Showers should decrease in intensity by sundown with showers slowly ending into Monday morning.Other than some hilltop showers for Monday (due to lingering instability over the higher hills) we ll see drier conditions from late Monday into Wednesday with another chance for some rain possibly by Thursday into Friday with a cooler system spilling down from the northwest. Hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend! Rob Mayeda
