Showers North, Spring Sun South

More mild weather can be expected to start the weekend, however with the jet stream just to the north of us, we’ll continue to see clouds spilling over a fairly flat ridge of high pressure to our west. There will be enough lift/moisture to wring out a few isolated showers for areas north of Marin and Solano counties on Saturday. Expect weekend temperatures to range in the 60s from San Francisco northward with some 70s further south. Sunday will see increasing clouds as a stronger system dives south – spilling rain across the Bay Area late Sunday into Monday. We should see some pretty decent rain totals out of this by April standards – before skies clear again by Monday afternoon/evening. Enjoy your weekend! – Rob Mayeda
