Some Warming Inland Ahead

Overall we’re enjoying a fairly typical late Summer microclimate pattern around the Bay Area. A slightly compressed marine layer will lead to areas of drizzle and low clouds across the coast and inner bay through morning, clearing to warm sunshine inland by midday. Highs will range from the 60s-70s for the coast and bay with 80s and 90s inland through Sunday. Saturday at this point looks to be the hottest day of the bunch with some upper 90s possible in our inland valleys. There’s a slight risk for some mtn. thunder again as some mid-level moisture tries drifting our way, but most of this moisture should stay over the Sierra and far northern coastal range. Enjoy your Friday! – Rob Mayeda
