Spotted: New Gray Whale In SF Bay

Our NBC Bay Area helicopter was hovering over the largest ship on record as it passed under the GGB, when Mother Nature trumped the global story as a rare Gray Whale was spotted inside the Bay. How rare? It’s estimated only 22,000 exist in the Pacific after becoming extinct in the Atlantic during the 18th Century. They can grow an estimated 45 feet in length!
