Stormy Start to Saturday

Quite a windy and rainy start to the weekend that will feature a Spring storm packing a triple punch for the Bay Area. Rain: .50-1.50 heaviest in the North Bay and Santa Cruz mountains will be widespread for the morning changing to sunshine and showers for the afternoon. Cooler air higher up and warming below could power up some stronger showers with some hail or brief thundershowers. Wind: Gusty 20-30 mph at times, higher near SFO and the coast today. Waves: Breakers to 20 ft and higher on the coastline through the weekend. Sunday: we may have an early lingering showers but a certainly drier and a little less windy finish for the weekend.
