Stormy Weekend Video Forecast

It looks like we’ll manage two more decent days, though with variable clouds spilling over a fairly weak ridge of high pressure from time to time. The first sign of our next incoming storm will arrive Friday afternoon as southerly winds begin to increase. This should allow for some mild/pleasant temperatures for Christmas Eve, however the weather will turn fairly gusty and rainy during Christmas Day Saturday. As the focus of this incoming storm will be mainly Northern California-based, we’ll likely see more sustained heavier rains at times for Saturday along with a risk of thunder due to some pretty juicy subtropical air being pulled northward again – with an energetic upper level wind field moving across the Bay Area. Sunday should see breezy conditions with more off/on rain and more isolated thunder before things calm down heading into Monday afternoon. – Rob Mayeda
