Summer Heat This Week

Slowly, but surely high pressure will be increasing its influence over our weather in the coming days. But in the meantime, another surge of low clouds will kick off the work week with some mist in a few areas before clearing back to the coastline.Temps on Monday should be a few degrees warmer inland, with more pronounced warming likely by Tuesday into Wednesday as the marine layer gets squished own to essentially linger near the immediate coast and inner bay. Valley temps will climb into the mid 90s to near 100 for about three days (Tue-Thu) with some cooling expected to kick in heading into next weekend. Enjoy your Monday! Rob Mayeda
