Summer Showers Soon?

It looks like we’ll manage two more nice, mild days around the Bay Area before things make a rather unusual and interesting turn Friday into the weekend.Starting Friday we’ll see the first in a trio of systems brushing by – with a chance for showers mainly north of Santa Rosa for Friday afternoon. On Saturday we’ll see a better chance for some rain – especially north of San Francisco late Saturday into the evening. As the trough of low pressure swings through early Sunday this will probably bring our best chance of showers further south to wrap up the weekend.Odd… indeed! I’m normally skeptical of rain chances from Fall-like weather systems this early in year, but this incoming pattern has tapped into some pretty juicy subtropical moisture north of Hawaii – so things appear more likely we’ll manage some rain at times – especially for our North Bay counties this weekend, so stay tuned.
