Summer Sizzle Soon

Father’s Day should see warming temperatures after some patchy areas of low clouds and fog for the morning. Temps should range from the 60s/70s near the coast and inner bay with mostly 80s inland and even some near 90 degree temps around our inland valleys. As high pressure strengthens Monday into Tuesday we’ll see a spread of 80s and 90s inland, which seems appropriate given Summer officially begins on Tuesday morning. Later on Wednesday into Thursday we’ll see the return of cooler marine air, though it make take an additional day for cooling to reach our inland valleys. By Friday and heading into next weekend a trough hung up over the Pacific Northwest will insure cooler and more mild temperatures with areas of low clouds. Enjoy your Sunday and Happy Father’s Day! – Rob Mayeda
