Sunday Drizzle, Weekday Warming

A fairly weak weather system will bring just enough moisture and lift to the Bay Area to wring out some drizzle and light rain at times for the first half of the day with gradually clearing skies and breezy conditions by mid afternoon into the evening. Things trend much warmer and drier ahead as high pressure builds strongly into the region. Look for north to northeast winds and warming air aloft resulting in temps in the 70s in the valleys for Monday, into the 80s by Tuesday with 70s and 80s around the bay for Wednesday and some 90s possible inland for midweek. Subtle cooling should return by next weekend, but temps should remain slightly above average for the next 7 days and beyond.- Rob Mayeda
