Video Forecast: Misty Start to Easter Sunday

Its looking like plastic vs. painted Easter eggs for outdoor events Sunday as more cloud surging inland will continue to moisten the atmosphere and drop areas of mist/drizzle or even some brief light rain at times for Sunday. Most of the mist/drizzle will likely fall during the morning-noon hours where computer models are suggesting that areas where hills/mtns will add more lift to the atmosphere is where we’ll likely see the best chances for light rain. We should see the clouds thin out a bit around midday, before another more widespread chance of rain arrives for early Monday morning. Spring sunshine fans will be happy to know that we should see a trend to warmer temperatures and drier days for most of the week ahead with highs climbing into the 70s for most inland valleys. Have a happy, wonderful Easter Sunday! – Rob Mayeda
