Videocast: Mild Days, Rain Later This Week?

As the jet stream slow drops south to the Oregon/California border, we’ll start seeing more clouds and eventually a chance for some light rain & showers for areas near the coast and especially north of San Francisco by Friday. Locations north of Santa Rosa could see a few showers later Wednesday as the first weather system brushes by. This will be followed by another system Thursday night that is looking like will drop a little further south – providing more moisture and just enough lift to warrant a chance of showers mainly from the peninsula northward for Friday.By the weekend look for high pressure to rebuild slightly, sending incoming rain chances north into Mendocino County northward for the rest of the weekend. – Rob Mayeda
