Videocast: Super Weekend Forecast

Chilly mornings followed by mild afternoons look to be the trend of the weekend, with some passing high clouds at times later on Super Bowl Sunday. Highs will be quite mild with mostly 60s around the Bay Area and possibly some 70s especially near the South Bay and from San Jose southward. We will see increasing clouds on Monday with some rain possible after sunset for areas north of San Francisco – Tuesday still looks to be the main event rain wise with a few showers lingering into Wednesday morning. High pressure is expected to build back over the region for the rest of the week for more dry weather. With Tuesday’s rain and a temperature inversion in place, we may have some patchy thick fog to deal with a times, otherwise not much more than Tuesday’s weather system appears to be heading our way to help our rainfall/snowpack deficits around the Bay Area and the rest of Northern California.Enjoy your Saturday! – Rob Mayeda
