Wet Finish To The Weekend

After a few sunny breaks into midday, we’ll see areas of mainly light rain developing into the afternoon, especially near the peninsula and into the North Bay. Highs will range from the 40s and lower 50s in the North Bay to mostly low to mid 50s further south. Rain will increase in coverage and intensity after sundown, moving north to south from 11pm through 9am Monday morning. Rain will turn to scattered showers and sunshine later on Monday afternoon.Another colder system drops in on Tuesday bringing some instability showers (greatest chances near the coastline) with snow levels dipping near 2,000-3,000 feet. By Tuesday evening into Wednesday we should manage dry weather however patchy frost will be likely in our colder inland valleys. Thursday into Friday will see increasing wind and heavier rain totals with the wettest system in the series arriving with milder temperatures late next weekend. – Rob Mayeda
