Windy Finish to the Weekend

A rollercoaster ride of weather is headed our way with the first swing in weather conditions trending cooler to wrap up the weekend with increasing clouds around sunset. Sunday s highs will likely remain in the 50s to mid 60s for most of the Bay Area.We ll see a quick chance for some rain overnight into Monday with a few lingering daytime showers possible as a system races through the Bay Area, ushered along by a fast moving colder airmass that will make Monday feel quite chilly and increasingly windy. Monday s highs will struggle to break the low 60s in the warmest areas with 50s to near 60 for highs elsewhere. Once again wind gusts may exceed 45 mph in location near the coast, peninsula and hills so be advised for brief power outages and localized tree damage.Winds should begin easing by Tuesday night, with high pressure building in we ll see some potential for some patchy inland frost due to the much drier air in place. However with high pressure strengthening for the end of the week we ll see both overnight and daytime temps climb upward into the 70s and even some 80s again approaching next weekend.Enjoy your Sunday Rob Mayeda
