Year-Old Girl Found Safe, Father Arrested, After Amber Alert Issued

An Amber Alert was issued for one-year-old Lexi Segura, who was abducted by her father Daniel Segura in Rancho Cucamonga. Robert Kovacik reports for the NBC4 News at 11 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2017.

Lexi Segura, the year-old girl who was the subject of an Amber Alert issued out of San Bernardino County, has been found safe in Montclair, and her father has been arrested, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.

An Amber Alert was issued Monday evening in Los Angeles, Riverside and Orange counties for the girl who was allegedly abducted by her father in Rancho Cucamonga.

Lexi had been last seen Monday around 5:40 p.m. in Rancho Cucamonga. Her father, 38-year-old Daniel Segura, was considered "armed and dangerous," according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.

After an argument with the child's mother over the child, Daniel Segura abducted Lexi, according to Jodi Miller, spokeswoman of the sheriff's department. The mother told investigators Daniel Segura threatened suicide by cop, and also threatened to kill himself and Lexi rather than go back to prison, Miller said.
