Dog Rescued From Canal in Central California

A central California dog is one happy pooch, after being rescued from a beam in a canal. Rescue crews climbed down into the canal to where the dog was close to falling in. Crews tied a rope around the dog and then hoisted him to safety. Animal services has named the furry fellow “Wade” — and say he is doing well, after an examination.
