Friends of Navy Yard Gunman Speak Out

Oui Suthamtewakul, was the best friend and former roommate of gunman Aaron Alexis. Suthamtewakul is also the owner of Happy Bowl restaurant where Alexis worked as a waiter. The restaurant owner and his wife Kristi Suthamtewakul expressed shock at news that Alexis was the perpetrator of the Navy Yard shooting rampage. Another coworker Michael Ritrovato also displayed disbelief outside their shared workplace in Fort Worth.
