Man Acts Fast to Save Neighbors During Gas Fire

A Good Samaritan saved his neighbors’ lives by dragging a flaming gas tank out of the neighborhood in an east Chinese village. A neighbor’s kitchen was on fire and Cai Dingfeng, a 63-year-old farmer, found his neighbor badly burned. After dragging the injured man out of his home, Cai discovered the source of the fire and tried putting it out by covering the gas tank in wet clothes. After that didn’t work and concern over it exploding in the neighborhood, Cai dragged the gas tank out of the residential area and to a nearby pond. This isn’t the first time Cai has saved a life. He had also previously saved a woman in a nearby river in the winter of 2014.
