A Swedish artist is trying to raise $15 million through global crowdfunding to send a typical Swedish cottage to the moon, NBC News reported. The "Moonhouse" would be dropped onto the lunar surface via SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket in October 2015 and would assemble itself. “A small red house can be the symbol of prosperity, of thinking bigger thoughts, breaking new mental barriers and actually making this planet a lot better,” said the artist in a promotional video on the project's website.
