John Lennon's Son Plays Touching Tribute to Pal Who Inspired “Lucy in the Sky” Lyrics

Julian Lennon, son of Beatles‘ legend John Lennon, attended the Lupus Foundation‘s annual Butterfly Gala at the Mellon Auditorium last night where he played a touching tribute to childhood pal Lucy — the inspiration for the song “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” — who died from Lupus late last year.
