Young Polar Bear Explores Zoo Habitat for First Time

Nora, a polar bear now living at the Oregon Zoo, has been playfully exploring her new environment after moving from Ohio. “She has done better than I could have imagined,” said Columbus Zoo Keeper Devon Sabo. “Tackling all her new adventures, playing with her toys, diving in her pool, getting to know the new keepers.” Nora has not yet met the Oregon Zoo’s other polar bear, Tasul, 31, but the two will meet after Nora’s 30-day quarantine is over.
