Kamala Harris to Become 1st Woman of Color to Accept VP Nomination

When Sen. Kamala Harris speaks at the Democratic National Convention tonight, people in both the United States and India will be paying attention. Harris, who will accept the party’s nomination for vice president tonight, is the first Black woman and the first Indian American woman to be nominated for a major party’s presidential ticket.
