Giants Vs. Padres Lineups: Madison Bumgarner Makes Last Start Before Deadline

This is it. Either Madison Bumgarner makes his final start in a Giants uniform Sunday, or he's not getting moved at the MLB trade deadline.

Bumgarner (5-7, 3.66 ERA) takes the hill against the Padres Sunday in his final start before the July 31 trade deadline. He's been on a roll as of late, going 2-0 in his last six starts while posting a 2.00 ERA, with 41 strikeouts to six walks in 36.0 innings. He has an 11-10 lifetime record against San Diego, including a loss on Opening Day earlier this year.

Sunday's game also represents Giants manager Bruce Bochy's final appearance at Petco Park, where he previously managed the Padres for 12 seasons.

Rookie Adrian Morejon (0-0, 2.70 ERA) will get the start for San Diego. The 20-year-old left-hander will be making his third major league start, and his second as an "opener".

The Giants will go with a right-heavy lineup in the series finale, with Austin Slater batting third in right field.

Coverage begins at 12:00 p.m. with Giants Pregame Live on NBC Sports Bay Area and streaming on the My Teams app.
