I brought four pairs of shoes to Sochi, but have ended up basically wearing one.  My 5-year-old, worn-out sneakers.

In the two weeks I have been here, I have walked 70 miles!  That’s almost THREE marathons!  I usually enjoy walking, but I have to admit I'm getting a bit tired of it.

My three other shoes are useless!

My "Fuggs,” fake Uggs as I call them, were very comfortable on the plane.  My rain boots will come in handy, if it ever rains here, but looking unlikely.   It's sunny skies and mid-60s right now.  This should be called the Spring Games instead.

And I intended to wear my riding boots for going out on the town, but that hasn't happened yet because of the long working hours.

So, now you know why my old, worn-out running shoes keep making it on TV.   Sorry.  Not very attractive.

If I ever cover the Olympic Games again, I am going to bring some stylish kicks!
