Mike Fiers Throws No-hitter Against Reds, 13th in A's Franchise History

Mike Fiers had to wait an extra 98 minutes to take the mound on Tuesday night.

But when he finally did, Fiers was lights out. The A's starter no-hit the Reds, striking out Eugenio Suarez to end the game.

Fiers' no-hitter is the 13th in A's franchise history and the seventh since the team moved to Oakland.

Three baserunners did reach against Fiers. He walked two, while Matt Chapman made an error.

It's the second no-hitter of Fiers' career as he accomplished the feat against the Dodgers in 2015 as a member of the Astros.
