Mark Davis is sorry. Sort of.
The Oakland Raiders owner torched the Oakland Athletics -- his Coliseum co-tenants -- in an interview with The Athletic on Thursday, saying "the front office has been real f---ing pricks" when it comes to the stadium arrangements.
Davis walked back his comments a touch late Thursday night in a conversation with ESPN's Paul Gutierrez.
"I am not sorry for the things I said," Davis told Gutierrez. "But I am sorry for the way I said them."
Davis is upset about a new Coliseum configuration layout that displaced 2,500 Raiders season-ticket holders. A layout that was constructed by the A's front office.
The Raiders' lease with the Coliseum expired after the 2018 season, and the A's -- who signed a 10-year extension in 2014 -- made some renovations, taking out sections of seats in order to improve the experience of their fans. In doing so, this new layout created 250 obstructed view seats for football.

After exploring different options for the 2019 season, the Raiders reached an agreement with the Coliseum -- with an option for the 2020 campaign should Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas not be ready -- but the A's already had made their renovations.

The Raiders will open their 2019 preseason schedule at the Coliseum on Saturday against the Los Angeles Rams.
