Warriors Set New Franchise Record Against Lakers

OAKLAND – The Warriors on Wednesday night set a franchise records for consecutive games with at least 30 assists.

When Klay Thompson drained a 3-pointer off a pass from Stephen Curry with 7:48 left in the third quarter against the Lakers, it was their 30th assist of the game – and the ninth straight game the Warriors have posted at last 30.

It’s the longest streak in the NBA since 1989, when the Charlotte Hornets set an NBA record by going 13 games with at least 30 helpers.
