Nick Senzel looked well on his way to his first career MLB home run Saturday night, but Giants center fielder Kevin Pillar had other ideas.
The Cincinnati Reds' top prospect -- and the fifth-best in basseball, according to MLB Pipeline -- crushed Giants starter Dereck Rodriguez' four-seam fastball to deep center field at Great American Ball Park in the bottom of the third inning. But Pillar got a great jump on the ball, channeled Spider-Man and climbed the center-field wall to rob Senzel of a milestone dinger.

The center fielder, whom the Giants acquired in a trade with the Toronto Blue Jays last month, had plenty of time on the wall to adjust his glove and ensure he made the catch.

Rodriguez could only follow it up with one reaction.

Senzel did not need to wait long for his first trip around the bases in the big leagues, however. The 23-year-old took Rodriguez deep off another four-seam fastball two innings later, and Giants right fielder Steven Duggar had no chance of following in Pillar's footsteps.

There's getting the last laugh, and then there's that.
