1888 “City of Chester” Shipwreck Rediscovered in San Francisco Bay

A steamship that sank with 16 passengers aboard in 1888 has been rediscovered under the Golden Gate Bridge, according to the lead archaeologist who found the boat sitting upright, covered in mud. Christie Smith reports.
