‘Loophole' Allows SF Restaurants to Hide Past Health and Safety Violations, Including Cockroach Infestations

San Francisco diners can log onto the city’s website to check inspection records for restaurants across the city, but the NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit discovered a “loophole” that allows some restaurants to wipe away their dirty secrets and remove their past inspection reports from the city’s online database.
