Alleged Girl Scout Cookie Thief Stole Cash to Feed Heroin Habit: Jailhouse Interview

Speaking in an exclusive jailhouse interview on Monday, the suspected Girl Scout cookie thief told NBC Bay Area that he ripped off the 10-year-old girls to to feed his heroin habit. Cody Phillip Gintz, 23, also showed a high level remorse after he was arrested Sunday on two counts of robbery charges after yanking a lunchbox containing $600 of Girl Scout money from Troop 601-60.
