Ashes of Bay Area Tourist's Father Stolen at Fisherman's Wharf

Thieves at Fisherman’s Wharf have reportedly left one Bay Area visitor crushed by stealing the ashes of her father, who passed away. The victim said someone took almost everything from the trunk of her rented car on Beach Street, while she and her mother walked on Pier 30. They had planned to scatter the ashes on Thursday, which would have been her father’s 57th birthday.
