Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Celebration

An awards ceremony honoring winners of the Growing Up Asian in America contest was held at the NBC Bay Area studios in San Jose. The Growing Up Asian contest encourages the next generation of leaders to take pride in their heritage. This year’s theme, “my contribution to my country,” brought more than 400 entries from elementary through high school students.
