Barriers Block Innovation That Could Solve Water Crisis

A three-month long NBC Bay Area investigation into California’s water crisis found several Silicon Valley tech companies and venture capitalists ready to design and produce innovative solutions to the state’s drought. But California’s labyrinth of rules, regulations, and multiple agencies that oversee water policy have become serious barriers to the large-scale adoption of those innovations.
